چکیده
Selecting appropriate evaluation indices to evaluate extremely hot environments has become an urgent problem ensure the safety of workers’ lives and improve labor productivity. The objective this review is compare relevant for assessing heat stress analyze more effective ones applicable industrial environment by considering each one together. Based on extensive research existing literature international standards, paper introduces definitions its influencing factors. actual needs workers, from a practical standpoint, summarize definitions, advantages, limitations index. As result, emphasizes that thresholds thermal should be appropriately adjusted suit different environments. hazards extreme work can reduced developing new indices, charts, or related strategies. This will provide solid theoretical foundation environmental control schemes harsh working situations.

Investigation of occupational studies performed by environmental heat stress indices in Iran: A systematic review
Introduction: Many studies, especially in recent years, have evaluated and controlled the occupational heat stress in Iran using environmental indices. However, so far, no comprehensive study has been conducted to review and classify these studies. Therefore, this study aimed to review and investigate the occupational studies performed by environmental heat stress indices in Iran. Material and...
متن کاملA study of heat stress in extremely hot environments, and the infrared reflectance of some potential shielding materials.
In the course of evaluating industrial heat exposures, three very hot environments having heat stress indices over 300 have been analysed by the techniques of Haines and Hatch (1952) and Belding and Hatch (1955). In addition, pulse and oral temperature measurements were made on three subjects exposed to these environments. These studies indicate that the methods of Haines and Hatch and Belding ...
متن کاملHeat stress standard for hot work environments in Japan.
Threshold limit values (TLVs) are intended to protect workers from the severest effects of thermal stress and to establish the exposures to heat in working conditions. Earlier, acute heat strokes often occurred as a result of working in hot environments in Japan. However, acute heat strokes recently sometimes occurred in outdoor work environments such as industrial constructions and agriculture...
متن کاملHeat Waves and Hot Environments
Hot weather is an important determinant of human mortality. In the United States, a major heat wave can cause literally thousands of excess deaths in a given summer. Yet, for purposes of public health, the term "heat wave" is not easily defined. "Hot" is a relative term, and periods of hot weather (heat waves) vary greatly in intensity and duration. Ambient temperatures may change rapidly, and ...
